- With over 37 years of experience in fencing industry, Bernie McMahon has established himself as a leading expert and entrepreneur in the field. Bernie began his career in the hardware business, where quickly develop the passion for home improvement. His talent did not go unnoticed, any soon was hired by one of the largest fence companies in the country. Over the years, he worked his way up from yard manager to operations manager of three locations where he gained invaluable expertise and insights into the industry.
- After five successful years with that company, Bernie took a bold step and launched his own business. His venture flourish for five years before he was presented with an opportunity to return to the same large company as an area commercial salesman, focusing on the western part of Michigan.There, he honed his commercial sales skills and rapidly became one of the top performers in the company all while balancing his professional ambitions with the desire to spend more time with his family.
- After another five years with that company, Bernie took his talents closer to home with another of Michigan's largest fence companies where he continued his success and flourished again in commercial sales.
- Driven by a entrepreneurial spirit, Bernie eventually decided to pursue his dream of owning a private business again. This led to the founding of Galaxy Fence Services over 17 years ago. Under his leader ship, Galaxy Fence Services has grown into one of the best fencing companies in the area specializing in commercial, residential animal control, as well as temporary fencing for construction sites.

- Outside of work, Bernie is passionate about community service. With over 31 years of coaching youth and high school football, 17 years of baseball, 9 years of softball, 3 years of basketball and 2 years of soccer. All while working and raising his three girls along with his wife Libby of 39 years, He believes in giving back and inspiring the next generation of youth, with his wealth of experience and steadfast, commitment to the industry.
